Behind the creation of Physician Associate Resources are two qualified Physician Associates with a wide range of healthcare experience and committed to supporting teaching and the Physician Associate profession. In this blog I would like to tell you a bit more about our experience and our reasons for starting the website.

We both graduated from the Physician Associate programme with distinction and have been working in the National Health Service since qualifying. Our experience covers a board range of roles including Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine, Stroke Medicine, Surgery and Primary Care as well as being involved in education.

Education is an area which we are both very passionate about, supporting both students and other Physician Associates, as sharing knowledge helps us all gain further knowledge. We are involved in delivered educational training in clinical settings during student placements as well as giving lecture-based sessions.

Physician Associate Resources allows us to extend the sharing of educational resources and also provided a platform to create exam style questions and OSCE scenarios to support Physician Associate students who are studying for their exams, and importantly the Physician Associate National Examination.

We hope that supporting education and training with a high-quality resource, will lead to knowledgeable, skilled and high competent qualified Physician Associates joining the Physician Associate workforce across the United Kingdom.
